We have officially got Maya off of the bottle. She had been down to 1-2 bottles a day for the past month and had always needed one before going to bed. On Thursday, we decided to just give her the sippy cup instead. We honestly didn't think it would work but she did take it. She continued to play and took breaks for milk every couple minutes until the cup was empty. And, she's been doing it all weekend. We are so proud of her!!
Now, we have a feeling that taking her binkie away will be World War III. We'll leave that for a time when we have gotten caught up on our sleep and have several days to kill.
