Maya has had a rough couple of days. Tuesday or Wednesday, she woke up not long after going to bed, crying like she had never cried before. We tried to sooth her with her binkie. She took it but soon spit it out. So, we figured it was teething. However, the spells continued the next couple of nights. Last night, Lezlie took her temperature and it read at 104 degrees under the arm. She called the hospital exchange and they told us to keep an eye on her and bring her in today. The doctor said it's another ear infection and sent home some antibiotics with us.
That being said, Maya's days are just fine. Today, she has already taken 2 naps--one for three hours and another for 2 hours. I think she was just recovering from last night. We are now allowed to give her Motrin since she's 6 months old so that will help calm her fever tonight. Hopefully, she will be cheery tomorrow for our first family portrait.

I sure hope Maya is able to see light at the end of the tunnel with all these ear infections. Give her a big kiss for me.
Love, MINNIE
